Welcome to Online Real Estate School Inc. (“ORES”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), operated under the National Institute of Real Estate Education, Inc. (“NIRE”). By accessing our services, website, or messaging platform, you agree to the following terms:

1. Service Description & SMS Use Cases

We provide state-approved real estate licensing education and marketing information about our courses. By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive:

Course enrollment links
Badge unlock notifications
Quiz reminders
Promotional offers
System updates

Messages may be sent by SMS, email, or automated dialing systems.

2. Opt-In and Opt-Out Instructions

By subscribing, you confirm that you are the account holder and consent to receive recurring marketing messages. Message frequency varies.

By accessing or enrolling through this website, you agree to use the services provided by Online Real Estate School Inc. for lawful educational purposes only.

All course materials are provided for informational and educational use. Enrollment confirmations, course access instructions, payment receipts, and compliance-related communications may be delivered electronically or via SMS when consent is provided.

Users may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. HELP is available for assistance.

9. Course Purchases & Refund Policy

This Section governs the purchase of educational courses and materials from Online Real Estate School Inc. (ORES), operated under the National Institute of Real Estate Education, Inc. (NIRE). By purchasing a course, you agree to the specific payment and refund terms applicable to your chosen course delivery format.

9.1. General Payment Terms

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. ORES does not collect, process, or store your payment card information on our servers.

Returned Payments and Chargebacks: Any payment returned for insufficient funds, or any credit card chargeback initiated without prior communication and resolution with ORES, will incur a $35.00 administrative fee. Students are responsible for all costs associated with collecting unpaid balances.

9.2. Format 1: Live Streaming Course

The Live Streaming Course is an 8-week, 75-hour pre-license program consisting of Real Estate Fundamentals (30 hours) and Real Estate Practice (45 hours). The total cost is $598.00 (payable in full or in two monthly installments of $299.00).

Refunds for the Live Streaming Course are subject to the following schedule:

•School Cancellation: If ORES cancels a scheduled course prior to its commencement due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, enrolled students will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

•Withdrawal Before Commencement: If a student withdraws prior to the start of the first scheduled class, a full refund will be issued, less a $25.00 processing fee.

•Early Withdrawal: If a student withdraws after attending the first weekend class, or after attending the second weekday/evening class, a refund will be issued, less a $100.00 processing fee.

•Late Withdrawal: No refunds will be issued to any student who withdraws after the timeframe specified above in the “Early Withdrawal” section.

To initiate a withdrawal and request an applicable refund, students must provide written notice to ORES administration.

9.3. Format 2: Chapter-by-Chapter (Self-Paced) Course

The Chapter-by-Chapter format allows students to purchase the 75-hour pre-license course in individual segments. The cost is $30.00 per chapter for a total of 22 chapters (totaling $660.00).

•Digital Content Access: Each chapter is a separate digital purchase containing video content and related materials.

•Refund Eligibility: A refund for a purchased chapter is only available if requested within 48 hours of purchase and the digital content has not been accessed (i.e., no video has been viewed).

•No Refunds After Access: Once a student has accessed the digital content for a chapter, no refund will be issued for that chapter under any circumstances.

•No Partial Refunds: ORES does not offer partial refunds for partially completed chapter sequences or abandoned coursework.

•Completion Reward: Students who successfully and verifiably complete all 22 chapters are eligible to earn a $100.00 completion reward. This reward serves as a performance incentive (reducing the effective total price to $560.00) and is not classified as a refund. It is disbursed only upon verified completion of the entire 22-chapter sequence.

9.4. Digital Content Acknowledgment

By purchasing any digital course content, particularly the Chapter-by-Chapter format, the student acknowledges that they are purchasing immediate access to proprietary digital educational materials. Due to the nature of digital goods, access to or downloading of the content constitutes consumption of the product, thereby waiving the right to a refund except as explicitly stated in Section 9.3.

9.5. Pricing and Policy Updates

ORES reserves the right to modify course pricing, payment structures, and refund policies at any time. Any such changes will be applied prospectively and will not affect purchases made prior to the date of the change. A student’s continued enrollment and participation in courses following any updates to this policy constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised terms.
